Let it snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since there's no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
This is a song that is surely running through many of our guest's heads right now. With over 18 inches of snow since last night, and a supposed foot more by three, some people are a little bit (only a little, mind you) overwhelmed. One couple wanted to go skiing. Sure, I understand that it would be incredible...if you could force through the blizzardy wind and the snow frantically falling, then push through the crowd of people waiting for the best powder snow we have had in years. But, yeah, it would be fun.
We have had two couples who were going to check out today, but then decided to stay for our "Snowed In" special: half off of your snowed in night.
A few people have wanted to go sledding, and although I agree, I also understand that we might lose some guests. This morning, for example, my brother was amazed at the snow (of course!) and decided to go play. This is what happened:
Step
Step
Step onto new snow
Step
*Fwoosh*
"Hey dad....where's T.?"
"Umm, over there-ish."
On the bright side, you could plow trails with the sleds and have half pipes.

So, tell us how much snow you have now, and a funny or interesting winter story.
Can't wait to hear from you!
